hollandtunnel A decade ago DJ Andy at WFMU (he’s long since gone) played 20mins of audio off this cd during a long set, and brilliantly blended it with other sounds that made it sound like a new, almost sampled finished piece. It was exquisite and memorable- thankfully I recorded it. WFMU has always been a big supporter of small labels and boosted sound artists. I’m thankful for their exposure or I may have never heard this, or Andy’s mixed version otherwise.

about

"Dedicated to my aunt who had the gift of being able to fall asleep anywhere and anytime."

Recorded live on November 2, 1994 at Finnboda, Stockholm.
Mixed and adapted at Studio Nybygget.

The sound source is a Cu-pipe (3.760x12 mm) connected to an amplifier.

The ambition is to let a message go through to the other side.
